Meet The Members of LVSSI

Director:

Tina Carlson

Las Vegas, NV

My name is Tina Carlson and I am the founder and Director of LVSSI. I have had experiences with ghosts for over 40 years in my life. My main goal is to help people be less afraid of what is happening in their home and either learn to live comfortable with he spirits or we can try to persuade the spirit to move on. This is an unknown and unproven science but we use the most up to date technology and knowledge about the afterlife to be able to help people in Nevada and surrounding areas. I believe that ghosts are all around us and sometimes they just want someone to acknowledge them. I don't always see spirits but mainly can feel their emotions and energies. I enjoy helping others because I had no where to turn to through most of my life for information about spirits.

I received much of my knowledge about ghosts from my grandfather as I was raised in an atmosphere where ghosts were commonplace. I received the rest of my knowledge from Dave Juliano who runs the Shadowlands as my friend and partner.

Assistant Director: Matthew Winn

Pahrump, NV

My name is Matthew Winn and I am the Assistant Director of LVSSI. I became interested in paranormal investigation when I was about 16. Growing up hearing the family ghost stories and my own personal experiences lead me to believe that there was more to this world than just what we see. I than found a website called the Shadowlands and for once it was a place that I could learn from and they didn't think they I was weird or strange. I than began to learn everything I could. From then on, it’s been more than just a hobby. I like to think we can help change the world one person at a time. I'm involved with a group of people who help others in a way that no one else can. They help people understand why they hear, see, feel, thing that others can't. It gives you a very good feeling knowing you a part of this. My secondary goal is to bringing the world of the paranormal into mainstream science after all we have biology that studies the mysteries of life why not a subject that studies the mysteries of the afterlife.

Assistant Director: Nancy Riggs

Las Vegas, NV

My name is Nancy Riggs; I am the secretary and one of the team leaders of LVSSI. Out in the field one of my duties is to say the opening and closing prayer. It never hurts to be too safe at an investigation.
I have always been fascinated in the paranormal as long as I can remember. As a child I grew up in a house with a ghost. It was very normal to talk to her, smell and feel her around my family.
I joined LVSSI in the hopes that we can prove, to the best of our ability that ghosts do coexist with us. To give knowledge, help and support to anyone that has a concern with a ghost.

Equipment Manager: Steven Carlson

Las Vegas, NV

My name is Steven Carlson and I am the equipment manager, transportation organizer and technical advisor. I am also labeled the resident skeptic and believe that only after eliminating all natural causes should you look to supernatural ones. I have extensive background in computers and also in construction and electrical wiring. All these abilities help me to search for natural causes. I have also had experiences as well in my life and know that there is something out there beyond this life but I want definitive proof of that.

Case Manager: Reichal Winn

Pahrump, NV

My name is Reichal Winn; I am the Case Manager for LVSSI. You could kind of say paranormal investigations was thrust upon me as I married into it. I have believed in ghosts my whole life having my own experiences and stories. I hope to further my knowledge and gain experience while helping others to understand what they are experiencing. Many times what people are going through is quite frightening and I hope to ease their emotions by helping understand what is actually happening.
